So, I’ve been googling myself (that just sounds wrong…) trying to see where else I show up on the internet. This is something I have done before (and haven’t gone blind, yet…). But things are showing up now from things I did two years ago that did NOT show up in google a year ago. That’s kind of scary.

When I was active on my old blog, I apparently signed up for every social blogger network that I could in order to drive traffic to my blog. I’m now suddenly finding myself in places I don’t remember ever being (and I was even sober…) and trying to delete these accounts. Some of them make that rather difficult to do! Like Technorati. I was able to unlink my blog, but I could not delete my profile or even change my name and e-mail.

So, I’m not so sure what to do now. Maybe I will need to move this to a new domain. What a pain. It’s not that I don’t want to be read, I just don’t want to be read by certain people.

I don’t know…I’m probably asking for too much.

But I’m starting to really miss it.

I try to fill the void by updating my Facebook status, but it’s just not the same! Some anecdotes are worthy of so much more than being crammed into a grey box on a social network. Am I right?!

So, let’s see if we can give this another go. Writing is pretty cathartic. Not only that, it really helps relieve pent-up emotions!

There are so many moments that I have wasted dwelling on the past or fretting about the future. I didn’t really spend those moments being present in their allotted time.

That’s what Soon-to-be Ex defensively said to me when I expressed my concern about him buying a 2010 “bumblebee” sports car.

We are upside down on our mortgage and he is supposedly working to resolve that by paying down debts that he has incurred and negotiating with the mortgage company, claiming hardship circumstances. He has also told me that I should work more because he wants to pay less child support.

So, why can’t I be excited for him when he gets a thirty-something-thousand dollar dick-head car? He said he got a great deal! One that he couldn’t refuse!

Dumb-Ass.

I’ve got a whole new attitude.

For me, no more trying to keep up with the mommy-blogging world. I shall not feel compelled to post every.single.day. Nor will I be obligated to visit everyone on my blogroll daily. And about all those stinkin’ memes…

You get my point.

I now reserve the right to use bad language. I have discovered that a well placed F-bomb now and again is very therapeutic. Especially when dealing with my soon-to-be ex.

The only person I promise not to offend on this blog is myself. All posts shall be purely for my own well-being and entertainment. I think I’m pretty clever and often hilarious. If there are others that enjoy what I have to say, that would be just dandy! I am open to new bloggy friends and value the old ones that might follow me over here.
